Why this event is so important!
Every year, eminent scientists from around the world are invited to review the latest research findings on climate change and summarize them into ten concise insights. This expert work represents a rich and valuable synthesis for policy-makers and society as a whole. Don’t miss this important discussion of our national climate change objectives on the international stage, and the fundamental role Quebec plays in the process.

The “10 New Insights in Climate Science” series is developed and presented jointly by The Earth League, Future Earth, and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). This important synthesis is peer-reviewed, published in an academic journal, and has been launched annually since 2017 at the climate COP with the participation of the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The French translation “10 Nouvelles perspectives en sciences du climat 2023-2024” is provided by Sustainability in the Digital Age, a think tank at Concordia University supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), and the Future Earth Canada Hub.
