Research Officer

Seth joins Sustainability in the Digital Age as a Research Officer where he contributes his skills as a quantitative social scientist with a background in climate mitigation. Seth obtained a B.A.Sc. from McMaster University, a B.Ed. from The University of Western Ontario and an M.Sc. from Lund University. Before returning to graduate school to finish his PhD at the University of British Columbia, he taught high school science in Northern Quebec. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Concordia University. His research on climate change mitigation has been featured in the New York Times, NBC and the CBC. He is also the author of a short book on individual climate action published with Penguin Random House: “SOS: What you can do to reduce climate change.” Seth is motivated to study climate change from a desire to keep a habitable planet for future generations!
